Characteristics of Eikei University of Hiroshima

1. Bachelor’s degree offered in English

EUH offers undergraduate courses in English, with opportunities to learn the Japanese language for international students. This program makes the university a very unique institute for higher education in Japan.

2. SDG-oriented Liberal Arts

The SDG’s 5Ps (Peace, Partnership, People, Prosperity, and Planet) are designed as the pillars for learning. The main academic fields include Humanities, Economics, and Natural Science (Environmental studies).

3. On/off Campus Learning

EUH offers learning opportunities both on- and off-campus. On-campus learning includes active learning classes, while off-campus learning is conducted through Project-Based Learning (PBL) and experiential/practical programs such as studying abroad programs, internships, and volunteer activities.

4. Studying in Hiroshima, Japan

Our campus is located in the central district of Hiroshima City(just a 10-minute walk from Hiroshima station), an international city of Peace and Culture, whose population is about 1.2 million, in the western part of Japan. It is an urbanized city with a rich natural environment.

5. “On-campus” dormitory

Our 15-story campus building will have an “On-campus” international dormitory on its upper levels. Living with students who have diverse nationalities and cultural backgrounds makes their campus life more attractive and meaningful.

6. Economically attractive

We plan to offer our university tuition waiver for international students by up to half when students meet the criteria for financial conditions and academic performance.
