On Thursday, April 27, 2023, we welcomed two officials in charge of international affairs from South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk), one of our valued partner universities. As we will start exchange programs on a full-scale this autumn, we exchanged information and deepened our understanding of each university’s characteristics and curriculum. Through their visit and our discussions, we reaffirmed our common ground and affinity for each other and promised to make mutual efforts to build a fruitful cooperation in the future.

In between discussions, we took them to Shukkeien Garden to enjoy the Japanese garden scenery and had Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki to experience one of the cultures of Hiroshima.

To further promote our university's internationalization, we actively participate in international academic and educational conferences. In September of this year, we plan to attend the EAIE (European Association for International Education) 2023 Annual Conference in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and we look forward to meeting them again there.
