Visiting professors-to-be: Mr. Yamaguchi, Mr. Fujino, Mr. Maeno, and Mr. Fukasawa 

Eikei University of Hiroshima will invite guest professors active in various fields to give special lectures to Eikei students with the aim of cultivating human resources who will open up a new era.

In order to give a sense of learning at Eikei University of Hiroshima, we have decided to hold a series of interviews between visiting professors-to-be and president-to-be prior to the opening of the University.

Mr. Yamaguchi, who is attracting attention as the author of "new type era (「ニュータイプの時代」) " and Mr. Fujino, who is active as a fund manager, and Mr. Maeno, who is on the topic of happiness management, agreed to be a guest professor at Eikei University of Hiroshima coming year.

(Biography)

Born in Tokyo in 1970.  Independent researcher, author, public speaker.
Engaged in strategy formulation, cultural policy, organizational development, etc. at DENTSU INC., BCG, etc.
M.A in Keio University Graduate School of Letters.
Outside Director, Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten Co., Ltd. 
Outside Director, Mobile Factory, Inc.

Speaker: FUJINO Hideto

(Biography)

President and Chief Investment Officer, Leos Capital Works Co., Ltd.
He was born in Toyama Prefecture in 1966. After working as a fund manager at a major domestic and foreign investment management companies, he established Leos Capital Works in 2003. It manages the "Hifumi Investment Trust" series of stock investment trusts, which invest mainly in Japanese growth companies.

Concurrent lecturer in the Faculty of Commerce of Meiji University and a senior specially appointed professor of Tokyo University of Science.

Speaker:MAENO Takashi

(Biography)

He received a B.S. in 1984 and an M.S. degree in mechanical engineering in 1986 from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan. From 1986 to 1995, he worked for Canon, Inc., in Tokyo, Japan. He received his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 1993. From 1995 to 2008, he was with the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Technology at Keio University, Yokohama, Japan.

He was a visiting industrial fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1990 to 1992 and a visiting professor at Harvard University in 2001.
