Eikei University uses active learning methods in all courses and lessons.

SDGs-oriented
liberal arts（General courses）

The Sustainable Development Goals（SDGs）are international goals for sustainable development adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2015. At EUH, we aim to train young people to contribute to the establishment of integrated solutions to real-world problems while considering the direction of the 17 SDGs and aiming to contribute to the realization of a sustainable world.

Practical English

Not only do we aim for students to develop practical English proficiency to the level where they can take courses in English, international students will also be welcomed to ensure a globalized campus.

Digital and Thinking skills

Students will acquire essential skills related to ICT, data science, logical thinking, design thinking, and systematic thinking for the society of the future where IoT and AI are global trends.

Project-Based Learning (PBL)

PBL is the core of our curriculum. Students will take a series of PBL courses to search generation factors, to identify unmet real-life challenges faced by our partner companies and organizations.

Experiential/practical programs

Students engage in program activities such as internships and volunteer programs in collaboration with partner organizations.

Study Abroad (Eikei ⇒ Overseas)

There are two types of study abroad programs: exchange programs at universities with exchange agreements, and general study abroad programs where students choose their destination through external partner institutions.

Degree Project

The one-year-long degree project will be done in the third or fourth year. Students set their project theme freely and discover solutions.
