Notice of Results (Document Screening)

(Optional) Check Zoom Connection

A Zoom connection check will be conducted for successful applicants in the first-stage selection. 

Participation is optional, and it is not affecting the evaluation of interview in any way. 

Online Individual Interview

The second-stage will be an online individual interview. Questions will be asked in English based on the content of the application documents.

  • Details of the second-stage selection will be provided to those who pass the first-stage.
  • Refer to "Online Examination" in the student application guidelines before the interview.

Preparation for the Online Examination

  1. Prepare a quiet environment (e.g., a room at home).
  2. Print out the “Examination Card”. It will be used for identification at the second stage selection.
  3. Prepare a computer or tablet, microphone, and earphones or headphones for a video meeting. A computer connected to a wired LAN is preferred. Smartphones are not preferred for taking the exam.
  4. Install the Zoom application on the computer. Access the “Join a Test Meeting – Zoom” website and check the audio and video settings.
  5. Edit the display name in Zoom to “Examination ID Number.”

Print Out Examination Card

You must print out the examination card. It will be used for identification at the second stage selection.

  1. Log in to My Page on the Online Application System for Eikei University of Hiroshima.
  2. Access "Application Form" in this system and print out the displayed examination card.

Examination Schedule and Zoom Meeting URL

Examination dates and times will be posted on the Announcement of Successful Applicants at noon on Friday, February 16, 2024.

The Zoom URL will be notified via email to successful applicants of the first-stage selection.

Notes for Exam Day

  • The exam will be administered in Japan standard time (UTC+9). If you are taking the exam from outside Japan, please be aware of the time difference.

  • Be sure to connect to Zoom 10 minutes before the exam start time and wait until you are allowed to enter the room.

  • If you are not connected to Zoom by 5 minutes after the exam start time, it will be considered that you are absent, and you will not be allowed to take a re-examination.

  • The University will not contact examinees individually on the exam day.

  • In the case of any problems such as not being able to connect to Zoom, please contact us via e-mail.
