Today, April 16, 2024, at approximately 5:10 p.m., an unusual odor was detected on the campus of our university, prompting us to notify the police and fire departments.

The police and fire departments conducted inspections and confirmed that there were no abnormalities. We are continuing to verify the health status of students, faculty and staff, but no problems have been reported at this time.

Following the incident, the building was evacuated to ensure safety. We apologize for the inconvenience and concern this action may have caused our students and their parents. The temporary disruption also inconvenienced the local community near the university, and we apologize to those affected.
