I made meaningful connections with people inside and outside the university

Idea of EUH, and it’s attractiveness

I was 14 years old when I became interested in Japan because of Japanese animation, but I was not actively looking for the opportunities to study in Japan when I was in Argentina. During the pandemic, I participated in an online university fair introducing universities in Japan for South American students. EUH caught my eye as it was newly established and prospective because the curriculum was so unique.

Engage in classes actively while having fun

Two years have passed since my enrollment, and I was able to meet new people in the meantime. I have learned a lot about making meaningful connections with people inside and outside the university. This experience really challenged me to go out of my comfort zone and try my best to meet with new people, and have fun in a serious matter. Furthermore, numerous opportunities to do a presentation that I have experienced at EUH gave me a lot of confidence.

My favorite classes that I’ve taken at the university so far are “Project Managementâ€, “Peace Studies†and “Introduction to International Cooperation and Securityâ€. Throughout these experiences, joining workshops and group discussions at these classes, I have learned practical techniques and skills to adapt to any environment, which makes me understand the topic well. There are some classes that use games to help students understand actual social issues, allowing students to have fun while learning and actively engage with the theme of the class.

Hope to utilize my skills acquired for my career

As a third-year student, I am still thinking about my future and what I want to do. In the near future, I want to stay in Hiroshima longer and pursue graduate studies regarding international relations or economics. Additionally, I would like to work in Japan once I’ve improved my Japanese language skills. EUH has provided me with skills to approach multidisciplinary works, and I believe this will help me in my career path.
