Eikei University of Hiroshima conducted a Jump Start Workshop (JSW) for students enrolling in the autumn of 2023 from Monday, October 2 to Saturday, October 7.
The Jump Start Workshop is an introductory training program aimed at enabling new students to spend their four years in a productive way. Students studied various orientations and two courses of introductory subjects, "Introduction to Social System Design" and "Introduction to Problem Solving," over a five-day session.
DAY1 & DAY4 Orientation
During the orientation on DAY 1 and DAY 4, students were given "General Orientation", "ICT briefing", "Guidance on living in Japan", "Library Guidance", and other information on the curriculum, course guidance, and what is expected as students of Eikei University of Hiroshima, as well as an ice break for students and a campus tour.
DAY2, DAY3 & DAY5 Intensive lectures
"Introduction to Social System Design", "Introduction to Project Based Learning", and "Introduction to Career Development & Coaching" were offered as intensive courses from DAY2 to DAY5.
