Professor Michael W. Lassalle has installed a radiation monitor in his Hiroshima laboratory starting April 2024, sponsored by uRADMonitor.

uRADMonitor, known for its work in Ukraine and its global real-time radiation map, is supporting this initiative.

It marks the first instance of an educational institution in Hiroshima conducting independent radiation measurements.

IQAirは、市民科学者、団体、政府に働きかけることでデータ提供を受け、最も必要とされる場所の大気質データの幅と奥行きを広げることにより、環境的不公正と闘っています。国連やグリーンピースなどの世界的組織と提携し、大気汚染の影響について世界中の人々に啓蒙しています。

この度、広島の教育機関としては初めて、独自で空気の質を計測する試みを始めました。

Two air quality monitors were installed thanks to funding Prof. LASSALLE Michael W. received from the IQ Air Foundation.

IQ Air operates the world's largest real-time air quality data and community platform, comprising over 80,000 public sensors worldwide on five continents. IQAir engages citizen scientists, organizations, and governments to contribute data and fight environmental injustice by increasing the breadth and depth of air quality data where it’s most needed. They partner with global organizations like the United Nations and Greenpeace to educate people worldwide about the impact of air pollution.

Please take a look; this is the first time that independent air quality measurements are available for Hiroshima as Educational Contributors.
